Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My kindergarten students love learning about the four seasons throughout the year! However, the weather in Oklahoma can be unpredictable so my kindergarteners do not always get to experience the traditional four seasons themselves.
To help my students better understand the changes that happen in winter, spring, summer, and fall, I would like to incorporate interactive materials. With the blocks and sensory tubes, my students would have a visual model. The play dough rollers would allow my students to create their own representations of the four seasons. The nonfiction books would be a great resource as we research the four seasons together!
