This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach 8th grade math and Advanced Algebra. My classroom is in desperate need of a makeover! In my 5 years, I have created and bought several classroom decorations and anchor charts to fill the walls, but they get ruined and fall apart due to not having a laminator or just normal classroom wear and tear.
This project is to help vamp up my classroom walls for a colorful, organized, and informational space.
Each year we have to take down, and put up classroom decorations. I want to have a good quality supplies that will last throughout the years. These posters and supplies will give students organized anchors to look at for help. The chair bands will help students with fidgety feet have something to focus on and the snacks are food any student in need (these will be used during summer school).
My students mean the world to me and I want to do anything I can to provide the most comfortable, educational, and organized space for them. It helps students with special needs when things are organized and routinely. I teach a wide variety of students in terms of needs and socioeconomics. Providing a space that feels well-put together and educational is key. These supplies will cherished and well taken care of. Thank you for your support and help!
