I teach 5th grade in Brockport, NY, and team teach with another classroom to make a total of 45 students that I come across daily. I also lead a group (Sunrise Math) of students who come in early 3x a week, 90 minutes each day to improve their math skills and gain confidence in class.
They are an awesome group of boys and girls, very eager to learn and respectful to all!
I couldn't be happier this year to be in a new grade level with this collection of kids, and I hope that this project can help them achieve all of their goals throughout the school year. Thank you for your support!
Technology continues to grow in our society and our students' daily lives. Voice-recognition software and smart homes have made the transition from "wave of the future" to "everyday application" in many homes and environments.
Students love opportunities to engage in authentic, engaging learning experiences with the most current technology resources.
The Echo will provide students a chance to gain independence, either by checking their math calculations, asking thought-provoking questions, or even check some of their spelling in their writing. In addition, it will encourage our students to enunciate and pronounce their words clearly while speaking.
The echo buttons open the door to many trivia games, both using the echo and without it! Buzzers are a fan favorite for students, and these will give students the chance to use them through many learning experiences!
