My students need guitars to actively participate in a beginning guitar ensemble and a method book to provide them with a visual guide as they learn about the guitar.

My Students

Have you ever seen a person singing songs while playing the guitar and wished you could play the guitar as good as that person? Well, that person had to start somewhere - probably with a guitar in hand!

My students are a part of the inaugural year of a brand new middle school program.

They have music once a week for 47 minutes and have the option to participate in extracurricular music ensembles/clubs. Currently, our only extracurricular ensemble is choir because we simply do not have enough instruments for any type of instrumental ensemble. Many of my students have expressed a strong desire to participate in instrumental music (guitar, in particular), but my students lack the funds to buy their own instruments.

My Project

These guitars are entry-level instruments that will allow my students to fulfill their dreams of playing an instrument they love and enjoy. With a reliable method book, my students will have a visual guide as they learn about the fundamentals of guitar and music in general.

I know that I have a musical bunch of students, but they have very few resources to channel their musical energy.

With this donation, I can provide a way for students to rock out! There is nothing stopping them once something captures their interest. They will continue to add fuel to the fire as they discover new information about a beautiful instrument. You could be the person that gives them an amazing musical experience!
