This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

On warm San Francisco days, our classroom regularly reaches temperatures close to 90°F, making it uncomfortable and difficult for students to concentrate.

Despite using fans and keeping windows open, the heat often disrupts learning and creates a distracting environment.

Many students become tired, irritable, or disengaged during the hottest parts of the day.

Installing an air conditioning unit would help create a more comfortable and productive space where students can focus and teachers can teach effectively. This units would support a healthier classroom environment that better meets the needs of all learners, especially during increasingly frequent warm weather days.
