My Students

As a rural school, we come from various backgrounds. However, we come together as one. Creating and transforming are just some of our top qualities.

Children here desire to learn new things.

They enjoy hands-on learning; versus more traditional methods like PowerPoint. As a first-year school, we are focused on establishing a student-centered environment that celebrates our differences. We are focused on illuminating each other's strengths and learning from one another. We all want to excel and succeed, as our ultimate goal is to graduate. In order to discover, investigate, and learn to be innovative, my students need hands-on tools.

My Project

Through social media, I see so many apps that can be transferred into the physical education classroom. With this projector and cable connector, I can display games from my phone that allow children to be able to play live and in person. Such games include physical education standards such as throwing and aiming towards a target. Especially with the cooler weather we have during the winter months and are not able to go outside, the projector and cable would be a great way to allow children to still participate in physical education indoors in our stars room location. Just think of how excited they will be when they throw a ball at the bug on the wall and splat it! Eeeeeek this is so exciting!
