My Project

My fifth grade students are on their way to middle school. One thing I have noticed, is that all students want to be acknowledged for their accomplishments. I

love the way their eyes light up from a simple compliment.

Therefore, my goal is to present them with a certificate at the end of the school year. Hopefully, this will set them up for educational and professional credentials throughout the remainder of their their lives. With assurance this award will also, encourage them to continue to enhance their academics while in school.

Receiving a certificate holds more value than just praise. Students know that receiving a certificate rewards them for their hard work and dedication throughout the year, which can be kept for a lifetime.
