This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The slogan "Fresh from Florida" is more than just a marketing technique; it is a way of life for many Floridians. Florida's agriculture industry is an 8.36-billion-dollar industry, which currently ranks #17 in the nation. Within this industry, we currently hold the top spot in the production of 6 different commodities throughout the country. One of our goals each year is to maintain all of our agriculture equipment in order to further their use year after year and do our part to maintain our impact on the environment.

These lessons will contain a wealth of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (S.T.E.A.M) curriculum, which will also allow my students to incorporate an understanding of basic maintenance on tractors, irrigation pumps, and farming implements.

The students in my program are eager to learn. They are enthusiastic about learning how changing the tractor oil, rotating tires, cleaning grease fittings, and keeping all of the filtration systems clean pertain to agriculture and how to provide a fresh "farm to table" experience in their everyday lives.

The Milwaukee Impact Wrench Kit, Westward Impact Socket Set, Westward Combination Wrench, and Proto Socket Set would be the missing pieces to our historic agriculture program and allow our students to complete all of the end of the year maintenance that is required.
