After School Gaming Club

Help me give my students a new TV, game controller and game for their after school game club.

My Project

Education comes in many forms. Allowing kids to be themselves is just as important as any other part of the school. Some students are not musically or athletically inclined. Our game club gives students a safe place to be after school to learn how to socialize and effective content that they may not learn elsewhere. Students who can socialize and follow rules get along so much better in the classroom. We are always adding new systems and games for our students but we do not have enough TVs in our game room to run all of our systems. We would love to add another station for our kids to play at. This way we can include more students in our program. This gives them a safe place to be after school instead of on the street. We also would love to have an extra controller and a new Mario game. Gaming helps kids with the basics like hand-eye coordination, sharing, and following rules. All these things are expected in the classroom and society so it’s awesome that we can teach them these things in a fun way.
