Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our ELL Team of teachers see about 150 students daily, many of them in their own rooms. Our English Language Learners are grades 1st - 4th students and all are unique and growing children! These students come from all cultures, areas, and various incomes and need an equal opportunity to learn and thrive.
The ELL students that I see need to practice intense english grammar lessons each day that require english speaking, reading, comprehension and writing online and traditional format.
My Project
My students need the latest technology and resources to boost their progress in in education and reading. The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door!
We need an in classroom printer that we can use to print off color picture flash cards, their assignments and reading booklets.
The face shields will be one of the most used supplies in the classroom so that they can enunciate their phonic practice properly. The staplers, highlighters, and the other supplies of the sort will be used by the students everyday to increase their confidence in reading and writing.
