My Students

The students of my school are extremely passionate about academics, athletics, performing arts and other extracurricular activities. We are a school of very active students in and out of the classroom.

We are diverse in medical needs as we serve the general education population, students with special academic needs and students with moderate/severe intellectual disabilities.

We take pride in educating all of our 1,350 students!

Our single floor school sprawls out over 350,000 square feet in various spider like directions. If you want to get from one end of the building to another, you will have a hike ahead of you. Emergency situations can create problems as we have long hallways to navigate.

My Project

Our school is school is approximately 350,000 sq. ft. on one floor serving 1,350 students with 100 staff members. We have had 4 different additions put on the school since the original construction in 1980 with our school sprawling in all directions.

You don't often know you have heart problems until the one day you need an AED!

Having only one AED machine on site is not conducive to our school safety plan nor does it work with our current layout. What if our one AED does not work when needed? What if we need an AED outside on the fields? In the event of an emergency, getting to an AED should be quick and easy.

We are asking for an AED machine that includes the AED, battery, Adult SMART Pads, Owners Manual, Quick Reference Guide, Date Sticker, AED Wall Mount, AED Wall Sign and a Fast Response Kit. Having this AED kit in our school will save lives!
