My Project

My students love to get lost in a good book! One of their favorite parts of the day is our read aloud. The read aloud brings together the whole class and they are transported to another world with brand new characters. These characters become part of our classroom community and students truly care about the outcome of their new favorite characters. With each read aloud, students are able to make connections with the characters to their own lives and experiences. Students remember these characters even after they leave the classroom.
