As a Makerspace teacher, I enjoy watching my students grow. In Makerspace, I empower my students to "think outside the box." We focus on STEAM or Science Technology Engineering Art and Math.
My students are creative, energetic, and eager to try new things.
We are an ACE (Accelerated Campus Excellence) school focusing on social-emotional learning, relationships, positivity, collaboration, and trust. They learn through exploration and play, which promotes innovation and critical thinking.
Students will learn the basics of circuits. Students will explore electronics by making a light-up card. This project is a great way to learn about circuits while making a gift for a friend or to celebrate your favorite holiday.
Students will design and decorate their light-up cards with stickers, markers, or other craft items.
This card can be customized for any occasion which I’m planning to incorporate this to teacher appreciation week, depending on funding. Students will need LED lights, copper tape, and decoration supplies. Thank you for your support.
