Help me give my students the filament and removal tools they need to use the 3D printers so they can bring to life what they are learning to design online.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school is both ethnically and financially very diverse. But, I feel that both students and I benefit from the mix of students we have as it provides access to opinions, cultures, and situations that each student may not experience at home. At home, many of my students speak languages other than English and many are learning English now.
The classes I teach are electives so the students are from a variety of ability levels and not all consider themselves artists; this creates a great opportunity for me and my students to collaborate.
Many bring skill and knowledge in math, science or other subjects that I don't know as much about so they teach me as well as me teaching them creative arts.
We are a large school and have large classes and sometimes this is difficult but it also has taught our students to work together and collaborate. I am so often impressed when students jump in to help one another in my classes, it may be helping each other to understand a technique or tool or when we have a student who is an English language learner and another student jumps in to help me and the student.
My Project
All of my classes are going to be exploring digital design and drafting and having the filament and tools we need will make us able to use the 3D printer to print out their designs. Students will use the USB drives to save their work that they have designed.
Crafts, Stagecraft and Ceramics can all include 3D printed objects both as custom tools and as elements of their designs so having the opportunity to include this technology in my classes and make my lessons fresh and interesting for all of my students will be very rewarding.
I have a printer but have not been able to get enough filament to use in all of my classes. Every day my students ask if they will get to use the printer, I look forward to being able to tell them "yes, you'll be printing your project soon". They are so interested and excited by this technology and I am delighted when they show such interest in learning something new.
