Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach a wonderful group of 26 first graders.

Although only 3rd-12th graders were sent home with devices, every single one of my students has found a way to connect with our classroom.

We have virtual live meets every day and seeing the smiles on their faces as they get to connect with their friends and their excitement for the daily content reminds me of their endless love for learning!

My Project

Although we are not connected in person, I still find myself printing all sorts of materials for my students.

From daily iRead check-ins to letters I’ve sent in the mail, to grade sheets, attendance trackers, and even schedules and presentations from professional development sessions I’ve attended, I am constantly sending stuff to my printer.

I’ve already changed the ink once and expect now that we are officially closed through the end of the year, I will be changing it again. This ink will allow me to keep tracking my students, sharing their progress with them, and staying connected via snail mail!
