My Project
Our 3rd annual STEAM Night family event is coming up next month! Our theme is Earth Day Every Day and we'll have exhibits and make-it-take-it activities for Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. We have been collecting breakfast trash items, such as plastic cereal cups, applesauce cups, and plastic spoons.
Students will have an opportunity to plant a vegetable start or seed into upcycled "planters" from the cereal cups, learning about sustainability and increasing food security in the process.
We only need the potting soil to ensure the success of this project.
