My Project

Students who have learning difficulties often struggle to read and keep up with their peers in the classroom. This pen reader will allow students to try assistive technology to have the device read aloud passages or text as an alternative to reading, in order to be able to answer comprehension questions and participate in the general education curriculum.

This tool will be able to support students in the classroom to complete activities to improve their confidence, listen and read along with the pen reader, and foster independence in the classroom.
