My Project

My 145 students in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades are a diverse and creative group, and I want to provide them with the best possible learning environment. As an art teacher at a Title I school, many of my students face unique challenges outside the classroom. My goal is to create a space inside the classroom where every student feels supported and can thrive.

This project will introduce flexible seating options like wobble feet for our chairs and sensory cushions.

These tools are crucial for students who need to move or fidget to stay engaged. By providing these options, I can help my diverse learners channel their energy positively, allowing them to focus on their creative projects and reach their full artistic potential. Your support will not only provide essential tools but also show my students at a Title I school that their needs matter.
