Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I will be using this project to support my student in learning foundational reading skill through various online platforms that are available to them. By using a touch screen, my student can easily navigate through programs. They are able to grasp the material when they are not struggle to use a mouse or toggle using a key board.

My student all have a learning disability.

They tend to struggle with unlocking the reading code. However, I have found that when learning is fun and engaging they are able to learn more quickly. The use of a touchscreen allows learning to be kinesthetic which creates another entry point to garner new learning.

This project will help my students to become readers and build their self-esteem.
