With your generosity in funding my project help us build our future, my students are enjoying the magnetic letters, numbers and shape blocks with hands on materials when using the light table. They are motivated to start to mane letters, shapes, colors and numbers. \r\n\r\n When we first turn on the light table, students started to bring over the letters, shapes and numbers and said, \" Look I see the letter P it's so cool\". They all wanted to bring more and more letters over and were encouraging each other to name what they saw. It was so exciting to see them happy and excited about their learning. Thank you, Thank you. \r\n\r\n the next steps in using those materials are to help my students use the magnetic letters to spell their first and last name and to start to form some sight words using the double sided magnetic letters. Also with the double sided magnetic numbers I want to teach them to sequence the numbers from 1-20 and to start to independently build/follow simple two colors patterns. Again thank you for the impact in helping my class.","fullyFundedDate":1774963852919,"projectUrl":"project/help-us-build-our-future/10036308/","projectTitle":"Help Us Build Our Future","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Centeno","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10214477"},{"teacherId":10220200,"projectId":9668627,"letterContent":"Because of your generosity, my students are engaging in learning in ways that feel meaningful, hands-on, and exciting. One of their favorite additions has been the white boards—they absolutely love practicing math problems on them. During our lessons, students eagerly solve multi-step problems, show their thinking, and quickly revise their work without fear of making mistakes. The white boards have created a safe space for learning where students feel comfortable taking risks and participating. When they first saw the new materials, their faces lit up with excitement. They immediately asked when they could use them and treated everything with such care and pride, knowing that someone believed in them enough to invest in their success.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, my students are building stronger math skills and greater confidence each day. We are using the resources for small group instruction, partner work, and whole-class problem-solving activities that encourage discussion and collaboration. As we move forward in our current lessons, students will continue deepening their understanding of key math concepts while strengthening their ability to explain their reasoning. Your generosity has not only provided tools for learning, but has also empowered my students to see themselves as capable, confident mathematicians.","fullyFundedDate":1764734564773,"projectUrl":"project/supplies-for-success-in-3rd-grade/9668627/","projectTitle":"Supplies for Success in 3rd Grade","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ochoa","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10220200"},{"teacherId":7851945,"projectId":9924122,"letterContent":"I sincerely acknowledge the generosity of all the donors who facilitated the provision of a new carpet for my classroom. It serves as the designated space for small group work, whole group activities, and storytime. Throughout these sessions, students enhance their language abilities, cognitive skills, physical development, literacy, and mathematical understanding. The latest books have helped them practice essential skills, such as making predictions, identifying main ideas, and using context clues for unfamiliar words—all while exploring characters and stories they can relate to. In our classroom, reading is a hands-on and engaging experience: students share their thoughts in small groups, respond to stories through drawings or role-playing, and enjoy quiet, focused time to delve into books at their own pace.\r\n\r\nThe impact has been inspiring. One student who previously struggled to focus during reading time now eagerly participates in group discussions, using the characters' experiences to express his feelings.
