Activities for Special Needs Students

Help me give my students in special education develop their gross motor skills.

My Project

Each week we see several special education classes. For these classes, we are in need of new materials that would help them develop physically similar to their peers.

The stretching mats will provide a safe spot in the gym for our students to work on their flexibility and range of motion.

The figure 8 balance beam will provide opportunities for our students to work on walking with balance in a fun way.

The throwing equipment will also enable our special education students to throw and catch a ball with some assistance, like on the Velcro pad.
