My Project

Recess is an important part of a well rounded daily educational experience and as such should include intentional programming to ensure students are engaged, safe, and entertained. It provides a much-needed break from the structure of a classroom, which leads to many cognitive, social, emotional, and physical benefits. It improves children’s memory and attention, helps them to stay focused in class, reduces disruptive behavior, and improves their social skills.

These materials will allow students in grades PK-2 to socialize with their peers while engaging in structured active play and help support a fun school climate.
