My students come to our rural, Title I school in Ohio each day eager, energetic, and excited to learn. They are active learners who require opportunities for movement during the school day.
Your donation to our project will give my 3rd grade students opportunities to move around the room throughout the day to meet their active learning needs.
My students need to be given the opportunity to learn in an environment that fits their individual needs and active learning styles.
All students learn differently. Children need the opportunity to discover what their learning style is and to work in a classroom that is conducive to meeting their learning needs and learning style. By using flexible seating in my classroom, students can discover the ways in which they work best.
Students will be more engaged and empowered to reach their full potential as a learner.
Flexible seating will allow my active learners to get out of their desks and move around the room as they work to release their pent-up energy. When all students are engaged, comfortable, and working hard, student learning outcomes will improve.
