Please help my students increase active engagement and participation but meeting their movement needs. I teach students with a large range of disabilities and functional levels. However, all of my students would greatly benefit from active flexible seating options.
Children need movement; these items will allow students to wobble, rock, bounce, lean, and move.
Physical movement increases oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow, and core strength. This allows students young minds to be more alert and focused.
Many students have very diverse sensory needs. Flexible seating options help stimulate students sense of touch. This type of stimulation helps children focus and process information.
