Each item has improved my student's ability to focus on learning and less on sensory needs, being hungry, or being sick. \r\n\r\n The cleaning supplies have greatly impacted my students physical health. Amid this year's flu season, only two of my students got sick. The number of absence is due to sickness has greatly decreased. Therefore students are not missing instruction due to illness.\r\n\r\n The snacks have been very helpful both physically and emotionally. The students that did not have a snack from home do not feel bad because they get a snack at school. There is no division due to poverty, as some parents can't afford snacks. Physically my students are much calmer in the afternoon and are more willing to do their writing work since they have a snack. \r\n\r\n The fidget toys and Chew items have greatly helped my students meet their sensory needs. These fidget toys are quiet and allow students access to items during instruction without being a distraction. These items have greatly helped my students improve their focus and motivation. My students are learning patience and focus each time their tower falls over or they make a mistake. This is teaching them perseverance and determination. \r\n\r\nThe stepping stones are amazing to help improve students balance and core strength.
