These items will help my students and I work together to create an independent station activity that is meaningful and engaging. These resources provide students with an exciting option to the everyday boring flashcards and the drill, drill, drill worksheets. They will also hold students accountable for their learning, as the pens give verbal responses, which can be hear by myself to make sure students are actively working. Hot Dots feature instant reinforcement with the use of the touch pen by providing positive reinforcement (correct responses) or gentle redirection (incorrect responses). This station will engage student while I teacher small groups of students. This will increase the effectiveness of instruction by targeting students individual needs.
