My Project
One of the most rewarding joys of teaching is helping students to unlock their imagination, creativity, and curiosity. Each day, our young musicians bring boundless energy and enthusiasm to our rehearsals. Unfortunately, they can also bring sneezes and sniffles during cold, flu and allergy season - not the sounds we want to hear in our rehearsals!
With nearly 300 students in our instrumental music program, it is essential that we maintain a clean and healthy music classroom environment for optimum teaching and learning experiences; we depend greatly on having Kleenex tissues at hand during rehearsals as well as disinfectant wipes for high contact common areas/items (such as music stands).
Since our post-pandemic return to classrooms, we have all been extra-sensitive to the health and well-being of every member of our learning community. I want to ensure that our young musicians continue to have access to a safe and healthy classroom setting.
