I teach a wonderful group of sixth-grade students in a high needs school in Charlotte, North Carolina. About 60 percent of the students at my school receive free or reduced-price lunch. Many students do not come prepared to class and it is very disheartening to me.
My students come in eager to learn with the materials that we have provided to them.
The teachers at our school go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure every child's need is met. The teachers want students to be successful and ready to learn every day.
My students need to feel like they have a warm and inviting learning environment. I want students to be able to see the incentive charts around the room in order to motivate them to always do their best work and be successful in class. Students need some inspirational sayings to entice them and keep them motivated.
My primary motivation to include the bins in the classroom is to ensure students are keeping up with their assginments and that they are turning in their work to be graded.
These particular items will organize the room and allow students to see where to turn in their work on a daily basis.
