My Project

My students are creative, hardworking, and eager to succeed, but many need additional tools to fully access reading, writing, and classroom learning activities. In our special education resource classroom, students work on a variety of literacy, writing, comprehension, vocabulary, and fine motor skills while building confidence and independence.

This project will provide reusable and accessible learning tools that support small group intervention, independent work, and hands-on learning experiences.

The dry-erase materials, graphic organizer boards, sheet protectors, and reusable resources will allow students to practice important reading and writing skills in engaging ways while reducing frustration and increasing participation.

Several students also struggle with writing endurance and fine motor weakness. The adaptive pencils, therapy putty, handwriting supports, and fine motor tools will help strengthen hand muscles, improve pencil grip, and make writing tasks more comfortable and manageable for students who often become frustrated during written work.

The vocabulary games, comprehension materials, and literacy activities will help students strengthen reading comprehension, vocabulary development, communication skills, and writing confidence in meaningful and interactive ways. These resources will help create a supportive learning environment where students can build independence, confidence, and academic growth every day.
