This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every student approaches math differently and we all learn from one another. In math, it is essential for students to have an opportunity to show their work and demonstrate their thinking. As students continue their mathematical journey with, I want students in my class to demonstrate what they've learned without the pressures of "going up to the board."

Therefore, I seek an Apple TV so that I can connect my iPad to both displays in my classroom.

This will allow me to find new ways to group students and give students a clear view of the lessons. This will allow me to walk around and have students show the class their work with the iPad. Having the iPad connected to the Apple TV will allow me to take a picture of their work and display it on the screens or have students directly work out the problem step by step for the class without the pressures of going up in front of the class. It will also allow me to quickly check in with students as they do their work and in between lessons. It will also allow me to do more review games in my class.
