My students need an organized way to access their leveled books so these book holders that hang on the back of their chairs would be incredibly useful.

My Students
Students in my school have grown up in an all-inclusive environment. They benefit from a diverse community that supports and integrates students with minor to severe disabilities in the general classroom. Here students learn to cherish differences and support one another. Students are paired both heterogeneously, so that students learn to work with different abilities, as well as homogeneously, receiving differentiated learning with leveled groups.
The students in my classroom are brilliant, and in first grade go from decoding words to reading chapter books!
They learn through integrated subjects and project-based learning. They excel at technology, benefiting from multiple different differentiated websites. To them, learning is both fun and accessible. They are cultivating a love of learning while recognizing that everyone has different strengths. They benefit from an education that focuses on kindness and mindfulness. My students are my life and I want to prepare them as much as I can to begin their education path.
My Project
While my students LOVE picking out books they do not like the system we have for keeping them separate. We have been keeping their books in canvas totes with their names on them in plastic bins. This not only does that take up limited room in the classroom, but they often get dumped out and the books get lost or destroyed.
My students love having books that they choose at their reading level, however, in first grade keeping these books organized is frustrating for both them and me.
These book-bags will help give order to the class and access to reading!
