My Project

As a reading intervention teacher, I am always looking for ways to support a print rich classroom for my students. These book collections will help enrich the minds of my readers while building their confidence and stamina as independent readers. All of these books have been chosen with my students interests and reading levels in mind. The addition of the rug and cushions will create a comfortable and inviting space for various activities during class, such as read alouds, social emotional learning and independent reading. The cushions will also be used for the Calming Corner in our classroom for students when they need to take a break and deal with their feelings in a comfortable space away from their peers.
