This project is a capstone celebration of a months-long arts education initiative between our school and one of our city's most popular go-go bands. Students have worked hard to explore various prominent figures of Black History in our our city, toured a recording studio and learned about music production, learned and performed a go-go song, and are preparing for a live performance at the song's music video release.
On Friday, May 17th, our students' music video will be released and we will host a school-wide celebration in honor of their arts education accomplishments.
The items included in this project will assist with execution of the event. For example, paper towels, clorox wipes, and garbage bags will be used for event logistics and keeping the event clean and orderly. Various snacks, including chips, cheez-its, mini muffins, party mix, fruit snacks, and granola bars will be available for students to eat at the event. In addition, cotton candy cones, and popcorn and bags will be used with our school's cotton candy and popcorn machines.
Cardstock, double sided tape, plastic table top frames will be used as part of the decor for the event, with printed information on the cardstock, on display within the table top frames.
