My Project

My class is a rambunctious and eager group of 4 and 5 year olds. We love to use our hands while learning new concepts! TK (transitional kindergarten) is the first year in a two-year kindergarten program. We get to take our time exploring foundational concepts, such as letter and number sense.

Learning through play is what sets TK apart from other grades.

We get to explore crucial topics through games, puzzles, and cooperative learning. I am requesting laminating sheets, mini muffin match math activity set, number and dot beanbags, wooden alphabet puzzles and other hands-on learning experiences to help support letter and number skills. Having materials such as puzzles, number robots, sorting tubs and tools for pattern making with help this amazing group of students be more engaged throughout our day, while also allowing for them to work cooperatively with their peers. We love working together in TK, and these materials will help support us so much!
