My Project

Students will use their journal as we work through ABC Bootcamp and learn how to identify letters, write letters properly and illustrate/label objects that begin with the letter sounds. At the beginning of the year we will be learning to write using pictures and letters, progressing through the year to sentences and stories. It is fun to look back through their journals and see how far they have come. Students love writing in their journals.

Using journals that have appropriate lines to foster proper letter formation and space for little ones to illustrate their ideas is important as they transfer from writing with pictures to using letters, words and sentences.
