Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am excited to embark on a special project for my kindergarten students that will preserve their earliest school memories in a unique and cherished way. At the end of each year, I create personalized memory books and keepsake boxes for each of my 23 students. These books are filled with photos capturing every moment from the first day of school to our holiday celebrations and special events. The keepsake boxes house treasured memorabilia and crafts crafted by the children throughout the year.
I believe that these personalized mementos will not only celebrate our students' accomplishments but also serve as a tangible reminder of their first school experiences, fostering a sense of pride and joy in their educational journey.
