We are a classroom of 80+ total students representing different languages, backgrounds and cultures! We would love to have colorful maps to display in our room so we can share our home countries with pride. We will use maps, an atlas and books to expand our knowledge of diverse cultures.

We are all newcomers to the USA and are appreciative of the opportunities we have been given, the materials we receive, and the most of all the acceptance and love we feel in our classroom environment. We are requesting colorful world maps so we can display our native countries and all countries in the world with pride. Fairy tale books from around the world to read and see the similarities and differences of the same fairytales across cultures to appreciate and have different viewpoints from diverse populations. Multi cultural books to read and expand our knowledge of diverse populations and help us become accepting and appreciate of different traditions and cultures.
Also as an added bonus we are requesting table bins to help us stay organized, which will create more time reading and learning. A CD to listen to different cultural music while we are writing or to explore different types of music from around the world. Thank you in advance for partnering with us in our educational journey.
