A Wealth of Literature to Feed the Mind

Help me give my students power with knowledge. The biggest impact on student success is background knowledge. Broadening and deepening access to topics in the classroom, through resources they love, increases literacy skills and science and history repertoire.

My Project

Exposure creates interest and curiosity. There is no single magic resource that touches on all genres, time periods, or subject matters. In a digital age, print media is emphasized less and less but students continue to need and crave physical materials.

With limited resources both in school funding and parental donations, achieving a rich literature filled classroom is a challenge.

The goal of this project is to provide a variety of materials on a vast array of topics to stimulate and promote self-discovery of the world we live in; to open minds of the people who made lasting contributions to society, or unsolved mysteries, or of natural phenomenon.

The hunger of my students is there, I just need the resources to feed them. They yearn to talk and share what they've discovered and make connections.
