My Project
As students prepare for their future, it is important that they have a plan. Some students have known what they want to be when they grow up since they were small children, while others are still trying to frame a picture of what the future may hold. As we enter the second semester of the school year, I want my rising seniors (junior class) to begin to dream and plan for their own futures. Since the beginning of this school year, we have spent time learning about careers, touring colleges and vocational programs and even meeting with members of the armed forces. Now, I want my students to visualize a path that they may want to pursue after graduation.
A Vision Board can serve as a visual reminder of the goals our students have set for themselves and as a motivational tool if they begin to feel discouraged.
The poster board and related requested items will allow my students to create their own vision boards. I want my students to keep their vision boards with them and view them daily as a reminder of all they can achieve.
