My Students

My students, like so many across the country, are continuing their education remotely. I have 9th graders struggling to stay connected, 11th graders working hard to get prepared for their AP U.S. Government Exam, and seniors working to finish their high school career while learning to cope with the reality that many of those special senior memories will be lost.

My Project

In an effort to stay healthy I have been teaching my students from my home during our school closure. Staying connected with my students has been a real challenge. I have been trying to use an old Chromebook to both record lessons and connect via live sessions, but the technology often freezes, loses connection, or fails to upload my content.

It is vital to keep connections strong during this time, and this technology would greatly improve my ability to connect to my students.

A reliable means of communicating would greatly improve my teaching, and better ensure that my students do not miss out on learning during this challenging time.
