A Tonie Box To Develop Our Listening Skills and Reading!!

My Project

We’re hoping to bring a Toniebox into our TK classroom to support early learning in a fun, engaging, and screen-free way!

Here’s why it would make a big impact:

Encourages Independent Listening: Students can easily use it on their own by placing a Tonie character on top—no screens, no complicated buttons.

Builds Early Literacy Skills: Listening to stories and songs helps develop vocabulary, comprehension, and a love for language.

Sparks Imagination & Focus: Tonieboxes invite quiet, imaginative play and help students build attention span.

Supports Social-Emotional Growth: It offers calming moments during transitions, quiet time, or emotional regulation breaks.

Inclusive & Accessible: Great for diverse learners and flexible enough to support different needs and interests.

With a Toniebox in our classroom, we’ll be adding a powerful tool to support learning, creativity, and calm—every single day.

Items needed for this project:

Tonie Box and headphones are important for Tonies and Tonie characters because they’re designed to be an interactive, audio-based storytelling and music system for kids. Headphones make them quiet for classroom use so the students can listen to a story without interruptions and encourages focus and immersion. The headphone splitter provides the opportunity for multiple students to listen at one time.
