Help me give my students their own cozy community reading space for our library. A warm enticing rug having enough room for the whole class encourages scholarly togetherness, comfort, and safety.

My Project

My kids are collectively curious, respectful, and kind; as eager to learn as they are to help one another. The library classroom serves all grades. The current chairs, sized for the tables, are high up for many shorter-than-adult legs, which definitely encourages wiggly bodies, which reduces student focus and impacts learning. The NET Wolfpack is full of avid readers, many asking for additional independent reading time during our time together so they can "please, just read one more" page/chapter/section of their amazing book.

Our library classroom needs a clean comfy learning place where the student body can safely sit with their class during stories, community circles, independent reading, laptop use, and lesson discussion.

The Sunny Day Learn & Play Rug offers not only an ideal floor seating area but with bright colors and easy-to-see alphabet letters, it gives visible letter-sequence reference for students to use during book-shopping.
