I need professional development materials, such as, "The Reading Strategies Book", to continue learning and providing the best instruction for my students.

My Students

"Can I be president?" This is a question that came up after reading an article about the presidential elections.

I teach a diverse population of students from around the world.

They come to me ready and eager to learn new and exciting things. It is inspiring to be their teacher.

I work with some of the brightest and most talented second graders.

They love to be challenged and are really great at articulating their thinking. These students are tomorrow's future!

My Project

I am requesting professional literature on reading and writing. I am also requesting reading and math workbooks. These materials will provide me with a fresh understanding of practical reading and writing strategies for my classroom.

Planning for 22 different learners can be challenging.

Finding ways to engage all learners is my mission and the CAFE Book is one of the titles that will help me improve lesson planning and instruction.

This past year I learned that I needed more workbooks, so that I can provide challenging materials for my students.

A teacher's work is not over at the sound of the school bell. We are continuously learning and adapting new methods and strategies to help our students succeed.
