A Table for Teamwork

Help me give my students a kidney shaped table that would help create an enriching small group learning environment.

My Project

It is no secret that the best conversations happen around a table or in a small group. I would love to provide my students with a kidney shaped table that allows them to work cooperatively with their peers in a small group setting and enable them to discuss and show their thinking to each other. At the same time, this will give me more opportunities to help differentiate students learning when they are in small groups. This table also has a dry erase top that would allow them to write on and practice their studies without needing extra materials, simply a marker and eraser is all they would need.

Differentiated learning in small groups is a vital learning path for all students and a dedicated space is necessary for reaching this success.

This kidney table would provide a space for all students to meet and receive specific learning strategies based on their individual needs. It would provide an area to sit pleasantly while learning and giving time to collaborate or work independently with minimal distractions. I strongly believe that the classroom environment plays a huge role in student motivation and learning. With this amazing table, I believe it will only help achieve this.
