My Project

I teach in a Title I public school in upstate New York. All of my students receive free breakfast, lunch, and a healthy snack each day. My class is a K-2 8:1:1 self-contained special education class with students who have a wide range of delays, including speech and language delays, or intellectual disabilities. Their learning needs are a wide range as well. Many of my students are at a pre-kindergarten or kindergarten level. A few also use communication devices.

Our classroom furniture is old and many of the tables are in need of an upgrade.

This group table will be the perfect addition to our classroom. It'll be big enough for everyone to sit at during whole group activities and story time, but also utilized during small group centers as well. Students will be able to work together to develop skills as well as receive feedback from me on their learning.
