Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have had many students in first grade this year become hospitalized due to surgery or illness or have some other traumatic experience in their home. I would like to have these stuffed animals available to give a student when they need comfort the most.

My plan would be for them to be able to choose their favorite, then I would personalize the stuffed animal with their name.

Students need to feel they are loved especially in their time of need. I believe these stuffed animals will help our students that are going through some of the scariest times in their lives. After all, our academic needs cannot be met until our personal needs have been met. Your support in this project will help our students in their time of need.
