My kiddos do a lot of learning on our classroom rug. This is a cozy place to come together for story time, classroom meetings, etc. We spend a lot of time on the rug!
A rug is much cozier than the hard floor, and gives each student their own individual space to sit without bothering or being bothered by others around them so they are able to do their best learning!
We are a first grade class in Utah full of energy and eager to learn!
My Project
We spend a lot of time learning on the rug! The rug is a comfy place where students can engage with the material they are learning. We sit together on the rug to read stories. Learn new material. Practice phonics. Meet as a classroom community.
The students in my classroom will have the opportunity to have their own space on the rug to sit comfortably as a community of learners!
