We spend a lot of time learning on the rug! The rug is a comfy place where students can engage with the material they are learning. We sit together on the rug to read stories. Learn new material. Practice phonics. Meet as a classroom community. The students in my classroom will have the opportunity to have their own space on the rug to sit comfortably as a community of learners! The classroom rug serves as a community gathering spot within the classroom, a place where we can come together to learn and explore. Building a classroom community is critical to student success in the classroom. Help us build our classroom community!
