My Project

In our preschool disabilities classroom, learning happens best when it is hands-on, engaging, and full of opportunities to explore. My students learn through play, creativity, and sensory experiences that help build important skills like fine motor development, communication, and social interaction. To support this kind of learning, I am requesting fluorescent paint, crafting sticks, foam stickers, and gem stickers. These bright, textured, and engaging materials will allow my students to participate in meaningful art and learning activities that are both fun and developmentally appropriate.

Using these supplies, my students will practice essential skills such as grasping, sticking, sorting, and creating.

Activities like painting with vibrant colors, building with crafting sticks, and decorating projects with foam and gem stickers help strengthen fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and creativity. These materials also encourage communication and social interaction as students share, request items, and express themselves through their work.

For many of my students, traditional paper-and-pencil tasks can be challenging. Sensory-rich and visually engaging materials like these make learning more accessible and enjoyable, helping each child feel successful and included.
