My Students

Welcome to first grade! I have not had the pleasure of meeting my 23 little ones for this year's class yet, but every good teacher shows up prepared!

"Work hard - play hard" is my favorite call back; and that's exactly what we do here!

In this class I strive for students to have fun while learning. I want every student to come to school excited to learn. I believe that keeping students engaged and entertained is the best way to do so.

My Project

These headphones will make using technology much more enjoyable, not to mention doable, for my students. Our current headphones have foam ear pieces that cannot be cleaned, duct tape, and no volume control. All of these issues would be fixed with quality headphones!

Technology is a major part of our classroom and we need headphones to make the most of it!

Every student learns differently. Auditory and visual learners will greatly benefit by being able to hear the sounds that correlate to what they are doing.

Not only will the headphones help us use technology, but also open a reading station for read-along books. All students can use this tool to help with fluency, word recognition, etc. There are so many uses the list can go on and on!
